A passion for the christ

Pastor Johannes preached a message from his heart, ministering to mine. How true it is that I have fed my spiritual tank hording all that God has done for me waiting for the day when "I am ready" to give everything to him. A passion consumes a person becoming their waking thought and every desire. I realized tonight something very important. Something you must be willing to see before it can take seed in your life. I saw my life through God's eyes. I saw how I dissappoint him. I replayed every time I prayed saying "God I give you my life use me" but only to fail by consuming myself with life and never truly "Giving" to God. Giving your life is trusting him with those things most precious like your dreams, aspirations, relationships, and future to him. "I will give you all" is not just a song, it is a lifestyle, a day to day routine of establishing trust and faith in God.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, but faith without works is dead. In other words faith comes by every day reading and obeying God's word. To have a passion for something is to be consumed by it. It is getting to the point where nothing else matters in life. How can I be passionately in love with Jesus when I don't read my bible and I struggle to obey its every word? How can I lay hands on the sick if I have no faith? How can I let my light shine if I have worries and things I am not giving to God? The answer is I can not do any of those things.

God forgive me! Help me to remember how many stripes you bore for my sins, the blood you shed for my redemption, and the death you suffered for my eternal salvation. Help me to remember that I have a responsibility to share this good news. Help me to focus on you and to give you everything. Jesus you must be my one passion in life!!! Like David prayed "create in me a clean heart oh God and renew a right spirit within me.." Amen

What is a mother?

A mother is unselfish. She devotes every moment to her family. From morning until night she is always giving giving giving. Families take a lot of work. There are dinners to make, groceries to buy, clothes to wash, lunches to pack, band aids for booboos, hugs for tears, and our mothers do it all. In fact, they get more done in a day than our country does in a year. Some moms even work, adding to their already full-time career. Why do they do this?

A mother is love. They love us not because we came from them. They love us because mother's can't help but love their children. Even when we disobey, throw tantrums, show disrespect, and forget to say thank you, they still love. Their mercy is unending, yet they lovingly allow punishment. Why do they love us?

A mother is a fighter. She stands behind us through every situation. She prays for our protection and salvation. She holds our hand through the dark nights. She scares away the boogie man and rebukes every dark spirit. She guides with wisdom. She does all of this and why?

A mother is a wife. She loves her husband and treats him with respect. She follows him down any path. She is his soul mate and best friend. She teaches how to love and respect authority. She shows us the true meaning of marriage. Are mothers perfect?

No they just do what Mommies do. They care, they love, they protect, and they guide. I am so thankful for the mommies in my life.

Happy Mother's Day to every mommy!

May 21st Moving Day!

Well looks like my last day in beautiful Missoula, MT is going to be May 21st. My dad and I are driving the 16 hours to Sacramento. Isn't he just the best daddy? I know you are all so jealous. I have been blessed with such awesome parents. Mammy/mommy is so helpful and loving. I really am so spoiled. Now, if I could just figure out why I am so crazy to leave them. haha God must be in control. Of course he is!!!

Anyways, I am super excited to going back to the Rock church. I have missed it so much! See you all soon :-)

NewsFlash

This is for all my good pals who are currently clueless about my future plans.

Yes, it is true. I am moving back to my previous home Sacramento. I am still figuring out the nitty gritty details like when, how, etc. But plan on seeing me by June.

I would like to take this time to say a few things. No, I am not moving because I hate Montana, and I am miserable being here. For in fact, Montana is a great place, I have a good job, and our church is starting to show the fruit of revival. Simply put, God has His hand on my life, and He is guiding me down His path. I am going to miss seeing my family and how God is and will use them in Missoula, MT. I am praying that maybe someday I will come back to be a part of there endeavors, but for now I am headed back to SacTown.

I am so excited to be with my friends, attend the greatest church, The Rock, and teach Sunday School. I have missed all of these things so much! OH and I miss baking in the sun even in March. hahaha

Sacramento will always be my home, but now Missoula is also my home. God sure is funny, but I sure do love him! And I will always love my Jesus, even if He likes putting me on roller coaster rides.

:-) I can't wait to see all my sac buds soon and very soon! :-) Get ready to Party!!!

Easter Sunday Traditions

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

What are your Easter Traditions?

My family has always spent the day with the King family. I am going to miss them terribly. Traditions are important they bring the family together, create life long memories, and impact generation after generation. However, sometimes life changes and traditions change.

This year my family may not be at the Kings or with the Jones' fellow-shipping after a great Sunday morning service, but we will be having a fun time here in Missoula. We will probably be eating a huge home cooked meal, hunting for eggs, eating lots of candy, and thinking about what Jesus did for us. I am so thankful to have family and no matter what life brings they will always be there for me.

So if you don't know what to do and Easter seems like another lonely holiday for you just find someone and make it a fun filled day of remembrance for all Jesus did for us!

Just have fun and lots of it!!!
